Duties
- Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development through positive guidance and management techniques
- Help supervise classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and exploration
- Provide basic childcare support such as diapering and care as needed
- Support classroom organization by preparing materials and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and implement behavior management strategies
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and children
- Flexibility to support various caregiving tasks including toddler care and preschool activities
