Montessori Academy of Arcadia- Monrovia, CA
We are a Montessori school that cares for children ages 6 weeks-Kindergarten.
We have an immediate opening and need to hire for our Pre-Primary Classroom (2 Year Old Classroom).
This is a Full-Time position that requires Monday-Friday availability and work hours are 9:30-6:30.
We are looking for a fully qualified teacher with experience working with children.
Requirements:
You must have at least 12 ECE Units and 1 year experience. Please do not apply if you do not have the following:
1. Child, Growth, and Development
2. Child, Family, and Community
3. Curriculum
4. Infant/Toddler or Health, Safety, and Nutrition, or Administration Course
Qualities we are looking for in a candidate:
- Be compassionate, patient, understanding and have extensive knowledge on children's development
- Ensure that children are supervised at all times.
- Build children’s self-esteem with positive feedback.
- Provide a safe and secure environment to make children feel comfortable.
- Comfort children whenever needed.
- Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understand.
- Establish routine and provide positive guidance.
- The teacher should report to the director/supervisor on a daily basis and whenever needed.
- Be punctual, professional, and reliable
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and must be able to Multitask
- Potty training and Diaper changing is mandatory.
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
