Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking dental radiographs (X-rays), alginate impressions, and lab duties.
- Engage with patients to provide clear oral hygiene education and post-treatment care instructions.
- Help manage administrative duties, including scheduling, payment processing, phone support, and patient record management.
- Maintain inventory supply to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Accurately document patient chart notes (Open Dental).
- Collaborate with the team to deliver seamless patient care and maintain a positive workplace.
- Adhere to WISHA, HIPAA, and infection control regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Dental Assistant registration.
- CPR/BLS Certified
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently and be self-motivated.
- Proficiency with dental software and computer programs.
- Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
