Shifts Available: 12hr shifts 24/7
Requirements OFF-DUTY:
- Must be an active certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer, in good standing with employed Department(s)
- Must be able to provide (VE-PEC) verification of employment as Peace Officer documentation from employed Department(s)
- Must have ability to maintain composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).
- Must have reliable transportation
Requirements RETIRED OFF-DUTY:
- Retired certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer for over (1) year
- Required: Permanent Employee Registration Card (PER Card)
- Required: 20hr Security Training Certificate
- Required: 20hr Armed Training Certificate or IROCC
- Required: FOID Card
- Valid Illinois Drivers License
Duties and responsibilities:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Enforcing security policies and procedures at all events
Working conditions:
- All sites consist of outdoor post that will involve inclement weather conditions
Physical requirements
- Job may require standing and or walking for extended periods of time
