Location: San Juan Bautista, CA
Reports to: Plant Manager
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm / Occasional Saturdays (Hours will vary depending on production demand, must be available to start at 5am on heavy production days)
Position Type: Full Time
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Compensation: The following information is provided in honesty as a general description of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon related factors such as, skills and experience, education, work location, internal pay equity, etc.
Salary Range estimate: $19.00/hr, merit increase to $20/hr after driving training completed.

- Inspect bags before placing them into a box or bin.
- Unload the conveyor line and palletize the boxes.
- Strap stacked pallets.
- Enter information into the computer.
- Maintain and organize finished goods warehouse and inventories.
- Requires a high level of experience with Spawn packing and order assembly for on-time delivery.
- Inspect and drive delivery trucks.
- Must have good attendance and dependability to meet delivery schedules.
- The driver is responsible to keep track of weight limits per deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as washing bins, moving carts, operating forklift or pallet jack, and load trucks.
- General housekeeping duties for maintaining a clean work area and reducing safety hazards.
- Pick up compost from MMI farms as a backup driver.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Drivers must have a valid Class C driver’s license and a clean DMV record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Driving experience.
- General knowledge of mathematics.
- Ability to visually inspect for small imperfections and errors in loads and shipments they will be transporting.
- Ability to delegate responsibilities and maintain teamwork.
- English/Spanish Bilingual desired.
