Join us as a Radiologist at the Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center located in Philadelphia, PA. This is a full-time contract position.
Duties include:
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies:
- General Radiology
- Ultrasound
- MRI
- Nuclear Medicine
- PET CT
- CT Scans
- Mammography
- Maintain existing turnaround time standards and quality benchmarks.
- Participate in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary case discussions as needed.
- Support educational activities as applicable (residency, fellow teaching, etc.)
- Provide oversight and teaching to the house staff of academic affiliates.
- Provide clinical consultation and provide evidence-based recommendations for additional or alternative diagnostic procedures to referring clinicians.
- Communicate critical results to the ordering practitioner or surrogate practitioner immediately during interpretation or within one hour of detecting finding.
Schedule: Full-time, 8A-4:30P Mon-Fri.
Period of Performance: 3 years total (5/15/2026-5/14/2029) with renewals every 12 months.

What we do:
Monterey teams with general practice, specialists, and allied health practitioners nationwide to provide local coverage for examinees. We deliver a wide range of medical examination-only services to public sectors and the individuals they serve. Our clients include the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), the Department of Labor, the Department of Defense, and more. Our provider network consists of over 700 providers in various medical specialties and degree types. They conduct diagnostic-only examination services on an as-needed basis. These services may take place in their private office, established clinics located across the country, or during travel opportunities for group screening events.

Qualifications:- Education. Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree.
- Board Certification. BC/BE in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
- Licensure and certification. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the state of practice (South Carolina).
- Experience. 3 years of recent relevant experience. Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting a broad range of imaging modalities.
- English Language Proficiency: In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
- Subject to background/security investigation.
- Must pass TB test.
- Complete an online onboarding process.
- Willingness to comply with Department of Veterans Affairs vaccination programs for seasonal influenza and COVID-19.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Salary : $200 - $205
