Position Summary The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests, tenants, and visitors. This role is responsible for answering incoming calls, taking reservations, processing sales, maintaining merchandise inventory, entering invoices into QuickBooks, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is organized, customer‐service oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Front Desk Operations
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and general information.
- Greet and support walk‐in customers, tenants, and visitors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
Reservations & Sales
- Assist with guest or slip reservations, accurately.
- Process sales transactions using the Point‐of‐Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and daily sales reconciliation.
- Assist with merchandise display and customer purchases.
Inventory & Office Support
- Perform regular inventory counts of merchandise and supplies.
- Track stock levels and notify management of low‐inventory items.
- Place orders for office supplies and merchandise as needed.
- Maintain organized filing systems and office records.
Administrative & Technical Duties
- Enter invoices into QuickBooks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Use QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks, data entry, and record updates.
- Operate POS systems, copier, scanner, and standard office equipment.
- Perform computer-based tasks including email, spreadsheets, and document preparation.
- Support management with administrative tasks and special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Point‐of‐Sale systems, and basic office software.
- Strong computer skills; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
