Job Summary:

The CNA at Monello Care Center completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Compensation:
- CNA base hourly wage: $18.00 – $21.11 per hour dependent on experience
- Weekend Warrior Program – choose one of the following 3 levels:
- Select Level: base hourly wage $5.00/hour (every other weekend)
- Pro Level: base hourly wage $7.00/hour (3 weekends per month)
- Elite Level: $10.00/hour (4 consecutive weekends; 5th weekend off)
- PLUS shift differentials - $2.00 per hour PM shift and $2.50 per hour NOC shift

Key Responsibilities:
- Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Implements plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs.
- Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN.
- Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Document results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice.
- Nutritional care
- Effective communication with residents and family
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
- Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
- Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous hospital or long-term care or skilled nursing experience
- CPR Certified
