Provides direct care to patients and serves as a consistent care coordinator through the continuum of care, assessing the physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs of the patient. Directs patients to the next appropriate service and tracks their progress. In collaboration with Medical Director, In collaboration with Medical Director, assure that all hospital behavioral health patients receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening and medical/psychiatric evaluation whenever indicated, and that all medical/psychiatric care is appropriately documented in the medical record.

Job Qualifications

      1.   Education: Masters Degree in Nursing, Advances Nurse Practitioner

      2.   Experience: Five years nursing experience, One year Nurse Practitioner

      3.   Training/Certification: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

      4.   Licensure: Nurse Practitioner

Hours of work: Aternating weekends from Saturday at 7am to Monday at 7am; Mondays and Wednesdays 8am to 4:30pm.
