DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Radiologist and Management, performs medically prescribed MRI procedures of designated anatomical areas. Implements patient procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. Explains the procedure and equipment to the patient clearly. Effectively assesses patients information and status, and plans appropriate procedures accordingly. Prepares, operates, and cares for the equipment being used. Adheres to established standards of care.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree required. A minimum of 1 year of MRI working experience. ARRT (R) (MR) certification required. BLS and IV Certification required. NYS Radiologic Technologist License. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
$39.00 - $48.00 per hour
