We are seeking a full time Midwife to join our team!
Highland Medical is hiring Midwives as part of the medical practice division of Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Our midwives and physicians offer comprehensive OB/GYN services in Nyack, NY. This is a full-scope midwifery position, including office hours and in-house hospital coverage (12 or 24-hour shifts). The midwives are well-respected and an integral part of the care team, highly autonomous, and with excellent physician support.
We serve a multicultural population from the large geographic area of Rockland County, NY. Seeking someone passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based, and empowering care to people of all backgrounds.
We want a midwife interested in being part of a team, who will help us build and expand this practice over time. Both experienced midwives and new grads welcome! Supportive orientation alongside midwives, competitive salary and benefits. Must have some flexibility to rotate coverage on call with other Midwife team members.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Master's degree in Midwifery
2. Experience: Midwifery experience, 2 years nursing experience on L&D preferred, new grads considered.
3. Training/Certification: CM or CNM, BLS, NRP
4. Licensure: NYS Midwife license and registration
Salary : $65
