What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammography Technologist position at Montefiore Nyack?
Rate: $50 - 55 Per Hour
Come join a collaborative team! We have a Part Time Mammographer opening for our spa-like Women's Breast & Health Services Center located next to Rockland County's largest community hospital, Montefiore Nyack Hospital, Nyack NY. Our Mammographers work closely with patients performing Mammography and procedures requested by the Breast Surgeons and Radiologists. You will have the opportunity to use state of the art equipment performing screenings and Diagnostic breast imaging procedures on patients utilizing ionizing radiation according to physician orders, policies and procedures. Assists Radiologists and Physicians as needed and maintains MQSA standards of quality at all times. Our Breast Center utilizes 3D Imaging Technology.
Attended an accredited school for Mammography Tech program; One-year Mammography radiology experience preferred.
2. Training/Certification: A.R.R.T. Registration in Radiologic Technology and Mammography
3. Licensure: Licensed with the NYS Department of Health
5. Other:Familiar with using an Electronic Medical Records System (EPIC), being familiar with clinical workflows a plus.
