- Job Summary: The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing, analyzing, planning and implementing nutrition and health education programs for individual patients and the community at large following the policies and procedures of the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
- Essential Job Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from CDR approved program in Dietetics or Nutrition, Masters preferred. RDN credentialed. Must maintain current registration with CDR
Experience:
1 year of relevant work experience. Basic knowledge of evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for oncology, HIV, cardiovascular, MS and a variety of other chronic illnesses.
Training/Certification:
RDN credentialed. Must maintain current registration with CDR
Licensure:
Valid driver’s license is required.
Other:
Must be self-motivated, collaborative, and possess good time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, skill in providing nutrition counseling via telephone and in person, strong presentation skills, and an appreciation for diversity. Must possess good time management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, cooking skills, and an appreciation for cultural diversity. EPIC experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Salary : $82,000 - $87,000
