Clinical Laboratory Technologist Per Diem
Starting at $45.00 per hour
Lower Hudson Valley Region Territory - Nyack, NY (Rockland county)
- Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of blood specimens. Performs testing on proficiency samples, quality control, standards, and calibrators. Able to perform manual methods, including kits and able to run all lab instrumentation. Troubleshoots problems and performs maintenance on instruments and takes corrective actions when necessary. Reports tests results to patient unit and clinicians.
- Essential Job Qualifications
Education: A college degree in related field Clinical Laboratory Technologist program preferred or the required years of experience with a NYS license.
Experience: A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Blood Bank clinical laboratory preferred.
Training/Certification: ASCP (preferred)
Licensure: New York State Registered Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
Other: Must be detail oriented, organized and possess excellent computer skills. Must have flexibility to work the required schedule and have reliable transportation.
