Hourly rate: $36 - 40 per hour, negotiable
The Coordinator is a key member of the Nyack Hospital Foundation (NHF) fund raising team. Responsibilities include creating and implementing processes and systems for effectively identifying, researching, cultivating and soliciting a growing donor population. Primary work focus will be prospect research, gift entry and acknowledgement, database management, database cleanup, and stewardship activities
- Essential Job Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
2. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the fund development department of a not-for-profit organization.
3. Training/Certification: Trained and knowledgeable with Raiser’s Edge or similar fund raising program
4. Licensure: NA
5. Other: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; PowerPoint a plus-
Strong communications skills. Must be extremely meticulous, detail-oriented and curious individual who takes
pride in their work process and product. Manages own time in order to concentrate efforts on priority projects.
Must have ability to work independently and multi-task on a variety of projects, and be able to appreciate assignments that have both a short and long term impact on the Foundation's mission and goals. Strong customer-service orientation. Highly-organized, detail-oriented individual who can prioritize multiple requests and is comfortable in a deadline-driven environment. Working knowledge of fundraising best practices and a strong understanding of how a relationship database management system and prospect research tools can support and influence these practices.
