Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) ED - Emergency Department
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Montefiore Medical Center.
About the Role:
- Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assesses patients, develops and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions as needed.
- Supervises nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.
Requirements:
- One year of acute care RN experience is required; exceptional recent graduates will be considered.
- 2 years of RN experience in Medical / Surgical, Telemetry, or Emergency Department experience preferred.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.
- BLS/ACLS/PALS Training
- Infection Control and Barrier Precaution Certification in specialty preferred.
