Job Summary
Performs routine clerical duties, interacting with clinicians, patients and visitors. Prioritizes assignments and organizes functions to insure effective office operations. Performs related work as required.
Essential Functions
- Provides information to patients, families and providers. * Information is provided on a timely basis and is accurate.
- Answers phones, greets visitors, handles their inquiries and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs. * Greet patients and visitors professionally when covering the front desk.
- Schedule appointments for patients and maintain schedules. * Accuracy and knowledge of scheduling.
- Performs general clerical duties including typing routine correspondence, reports and forms, filing and maintaining files, compiling data for reports and opening and screening mail and routing to appropriate staff member. * Reports and correspondence prepared on a timely basis with minimal errors. Accurate data entry.
- Performs other general office duties as instructed by their supervisor. * Flexibility and willingness to accept changes in work assignments.
- High School Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred
- Knowledge of other computer software programs also preferred
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Light billing experience preferred
- OHS Fit Test
- OHS Annual Assessment
