Job Summary

Repairs locks and maintains key control and lock systems throughout the Medical Center. Provides Technical expertise regarding the

selection and installations of locks.

Essential Functions

• Repairs and installs locks
• Routine checks on the system to ensure that work is done correctly.
• Duplicates and issues keys
• Review inventory of keys cut on a monthly basis to determine effectiveness.
• Maintains records pertaining to ley control
• Quarterly adult of all records to ensure accuracy.
• Assists hospital associates to gain access to areas in the event of a lockout
• Prompt responses as measured by work request submitted.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Required
• 1-3 years hospital locksmith experience Required
• OHS Annual Assessment
• OHS Fit Test
• NY State Locksmith license Required
