Psychologist – WeCARE Queens Program

At UBA, we are committed to helping individuals overcome medical, mental health, and social barriers to employment so they can achieve greater independence and self-sufficiency. As part of the Wellness, Comprehensive Assessment, Rehabilitation, and Employment (WeCARE) program, our Psychologist plays a vital role in supporting clients on their journey toward improved health and meaningful employment.

The WeCARE Psychologist works closely with the Medical Director to implement standard operating policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with New York City HRA contractual requirements.

In this role, you will conduct Psychological Assessments for clients when:

· They disagree with their Functional Capacity Outcome determination, or

· Their Functional Capacity Outcome cannot be determined following a Clinical Assessment and potential mental health barriers to employment are identified.

You will also serve as a clinical resource for UBA WeCARE staff, providing guidance to ensure program goals and contractual obligations are successfully met.

In addition to a competitive salary of $78,000, we offer LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) and much more.

Licensed Psychologist in the state of New York with active registration. A minimum of 2 years’ experience. Knowledge of medical and/or behavioral Health diagnoses required.

3-day work week, no weekends or holidays, hours of operation are 8:30am-5pm, schedule would be within that time frame.
