Monteferro USA is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector/Technician to join our team for our Monday to Friday Day Shift.
The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance and regulatory standards within a manufacturing facility, ensuring high-quality parts are manufactured according to customer specifications.
The Quality Assurance Inspector/ Technician ensures Company and Customer Quality and Regulatory Standards (ISO 9001/14001) are being met.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will conduct Quality Testing, Perform Incoming, In Process and Final Inspection, Calibrate Measuring and Testing Equipment, Write/Complete Test Reports and necessary documentation, perform Dock Audits, Lead 6S Program, complete FAIR(s), Communicate test results/reports, and communicates well with fellow associates.
To ensure success in the QA Inspector/Technician position, you should have sound knowledge of testing procedures, a good eye for detail, experience with ISO 9001/14001, auditing, and advanced problem-solving skills. You should be able to accurately identify production irregularities and maintain a safe working environment.

- Incoming/Receiving Inspections

- Final Inspections
- First Article Inspections
- Root cause analysis
- Process audits
· Reviewing and revising inspection and test procedures
· Calibration
· 6S Program
· Document Control
· Process improvements
· Reporting of Quality and Safety infringements to QA Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a QA Technician (or similar) role in a manufacturing environment
- Working Knowledge of Quality Standards, such as, but not limited to; ISO 9001/14001, Regulatory, Environmental, etc.
- Experience with continuous improvement, documentation, process audits, root cause/non-conformance investigations
- Strong Communication Skills - both spoken and written
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Experience with writing, updating, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures, (SOPs)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to work in hot, noisy environment
- Computer knowledge – (Excel, Windows, etc.)
- Knowledge and use of Measuring and Testing Devices and Equipment
