Experience Caregiver

Position Summary

The Caregiver is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate, and reliable in-home care to clients of Monte Bonita LLC. This includes assistance with personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and support with daily activities to promote the client’s independence, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and promote a positive environment.
• Prepare and serve meals following client preferences and dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
• Assist with medication reminders (non-medical).
• Support clients with safe ambulation and transfers, using gait belts or assistive devices when needed.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or community outings as approved.
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to the supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client and company information (HIPAA compliant).
• Follow Monte Bonita LLC policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with clear background check (Guardian/Live Scan).
• Negative TB test (within the last year).
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Must be dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus).

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
