Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients in both outpatient and acute care settings. You will play a vital role in enhancing patient recovery and ensuring a positive experience for those undergoing rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physiology and medical terminology, along with excellent patient service skills.
Duties
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, including exercises and modalities.
- Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies.
- Do laundry regularly
- Help patients with mobility, ensuring their safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required.
- Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient intake.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and basic principles of patient care is a plus, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in acute care environments is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to assist patients as needed.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
