Montcalm Care Network is seeking a master level clinician with experience working with children who have serious emotional disturbances. Work in an organization that supports professional growth, values team-based interventions and provides trauma-informed care.

Home Based Specialist provides intensive therapeutic intervention to children (ages 0-17) and their families in a home and community-based setting. Position requires ability to coordinate care with multiple providers. Experience in evidence-based practices such as trauma-informed CBT a plus.

Employment Qualifications

Education: Possession of a master’s degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology or a related social services field.

Experience: One year of experience in a mental health related field in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families.

Other Requirements: Licensure or limited licensure as a Social Worker, Counselor, Limited License Psychologist by the State of Michigan. Must be a Children’s Mental Health Professional (CMHP) or supervised by an individual with this credential. Must complete an Infant Mental Health Endorsement if serving the 0-3 population.

Valid driver’s license is required. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a State of Michigan chauffeur’s license within 30 days of hire.

Salary:

Master’s level: $56,170 - $80,720 less than full license

Master’s level: $62,514 - $89,878 full license

Schedule: 4-day work week with two evenings required.

Student Loan Repayment: MCN is an approved National Health Service site (NHSC, a loan repayment program); in addition to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), and MDHHS Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program (BHLRP). MCN offers tuition reimbursement of up to $5,250 per year.
