Montauk Bus is a family own transportation company on Long Island. We have been operating for over 45 years are constantly growing and expanding. Our employees are always treated fairly and respectfully. We are looking to fill multiple school bus driver jobs on long island who will uphold our high standard of safety.
Bus Matrons assist in maintaining a safe operating environment for a bus, the driver and its passengers.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Ensure all passengers use proper safety equipment and are practicing safety guidelines.
- Arrive on time at regular pick up location. You must know your route traveled to anticipate seating arrangements and assistance for passengers and potentially substitute driver.
- Assist students coming on and off bus.
- Complete behavior reports in the following situations: smoking, vaping, fighting, improper use of lack of use of safety equipment, etc. Behavior reports area means od assisting parents and teachers to evaluate issues that occur and to make necessary solutions to correct said issues.
- Remain awake and alert at all times while on duty.
- Ensure all passengers have exited the bus at the end of the route. Check all areas for sleeping children etc..
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Center Moriches, NY 11934: Relocate before starting work (Required)
