Montaplast is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, forecasting, and business analysis across the organization. This role is a key partner to Finance and operational teams, with direct involvement in monthly close, cash reporting, and performance analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in monthly close activities, including general ledger and account reconciliations
- Manage daily and month-end cash reporting
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare variance analysis (actual vs. budget) across multiple areas
- Support annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
- Partner with departments to improve processes and system utilization
- Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc financial reports
- Support internal controls and compliance efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and analyze financial data
- Assist leadership in understanding financial results and forecasts
- Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Education and/or Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work across teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
