Instructor Track requires BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field. Position includes lab director duties. All candidates must have the ability to obtain a PE or EIT license in the state of Montana. The department offers BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering as well as a PhD in Energy Engineering and Science. Montana Tech is a special focus university with reputation for excellence localized in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The department has a strong commitment to undergraduate education and maintains externally funded research programs in power systems a control systems. - Teach courses and labs for the Electrical Engineering Department.
- Advise students and student projects.
- Develop and maintain laboratory facilities within the Electrical Engineering department.
- Provide service to the campus and community.
- Participate in Electrical Engineering program development.Required Qualifications for Instructor 1
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited program.
- Licensure: Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) license as an Electrical Engineer in Montana.Required Qualifications for Instructor 2
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited program.
- Advanced Degree: MS in a technical area supporting an EE subject (e.g., engineering disciplines, physics, computer science).
- Licensure: Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Montana within one year of hire.
- Experience: College-level teaching experience with demonstrated excellent performance.Preferred Qualifications for Instructor 1:
