Teach courses in the Sherry Lesar School of Nursing. Provide educational instruction and intervention within the classroom, clinical, and simulation lab settings, utilizing learning management systems. Participate in curriculum development and assessment of learning outcomes. Other responsibilities include holding regular office hours, student recruitment, advising, scholarship and research in nursing, and committee work as assigned. Courses taught may include: NRSG 308: Gerontology; NRSG 215: Health Assessment and Health Promotion; and NRSG 230: Pharmacology. Must have current unencumbered license as a registered nurse or advance practice nurse in the state of Montana or ability to obtain license by start date.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Primary Education and Experience Requirements: MS in Nursing 3 years of practical nursing experience, including patient care and/or clinic nursing.Other Special Skills or Requirements: Must have current unencumbered license as a registered nurse or advance practice nurse in the state of Montana or ability to obtain license by start date. Experience (3 years) in a nursing academic teaching environment. Demonstrated nursing scholarship, including research experience, presentations at professional conferences, and/or publications.
