Position Overview 

As a Retail Sales Shift Lead, you’ll lead by example and support
day-to-day store operations while fostering a positive, inclusive team environment. In this hands-on role, you'll
assist the leadership team in delivering an exceptional in-store experience through customer engagement, visual merchandising, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities 

Sales & Customer Experience 

• Create a welcoming store atmosphere that reflects our brand and values. 

• Engage customers through personalized service and build lasting relationships. 

• Execute in-store events and client retention strategies. 
  

Operations 

• Open and close the store according to company procedures. 

• Handle cash, manage inventory, and maintain stock levels. 

• Monitor store zoning and staff coverage, coordinating breaks around peak hours. 

• Assist with shipping, receiving, restocking, and e-commerce fulfillment. 

Visual Merchandising 

• Support seasonal product rollouts, mannequin styling, and floor moves. 

• Maintain clean, organized, and visually compelling displays. 

• Identify inventory needs and communicate feedback to management. 

Team Leadership 

• Motivate and coach team members in real time. 

• Recognize strong performance and address challenges constructively. 

• Support training and onboarding of new employees. 

• Stay informed about community events and local happenings to enhance brand connection. 

Required Qualifications 

• 1 year of retail experience, with some supervisory responsibilities preferred. 

• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to analyze sales data and customer behavior. 

• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to take initiative. 

• Able to lift 30–40 lbs and stand for extended periods. 

• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• 2 years of retail or customer-facing experience, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role 

• Experience in boutique or lifestyle retail environments, or other high-end customer service industries 

• Background in visual merchandising, window displays, or retail floor planning 

• Demonstrated ability to create compelling in-store displays that reflect seasonal trends and brand identity 

• Experience executing floor sets, product rollouts, or styling mannequins 

• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management tools, and e-commerce platforms 

• Previous experience living or working in a resort or seasonal town 

• Self-motivated with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
