ABOUT THE POSITION

Montana Shed Center is looking for a motivated, personable Sales Representative to join our team.

This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable following up with leads, and wants the opportunity to increase their income through sales.

This is more than an order-taking position. You will work directly with customers to understand what they need, help them choose or design the right building, prepare quotes, follow up with prospects, and guide customers through the entire sales process.

We provide a dependable hourly wage along with commission on every sale and additional performance-based bonus opportunities.

COMPENSATION

• $20.00 per hour
• 3% commission on all sales
• Additional performance bonuses
• Commission is paid in addition to your hourly wage
• Full-time position

ESTIMATED ANNUAL EARNINGS

Based on a 40-hour workweek:

• $250,000 in annual sales: approximately $49,100 per year
• $350,000 in annual sales: approximately $52,100 per year
• $500,000 in annual sales: approximately $56,600 per year
• $750,000 in annual sales: approximately $64,100 per year

These estimates do not include additional performance bonuses. Compensation listed is a starting structure and may change based on performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Greet and assist customers shopping for sheds, garages, cabins, and other outdoor structures
• Ask questions and listen carefully to understand each customer’s needs
• Help customers choose the right building size, style, features, colors, and options
• Assist customers with designing or customizing their building
• Prepare accurate quotes and clearly explain pricing and available options
• Follow up with leads by phone, text, and email
• Respond to online, phone, and walk-in sales inquiries
• Maintain communication with customers throughout the sales process
• Build relationships with prospective and existing customers
• Keep customer, lead, and sales information organized and up to date
• Work toward individual and company sales goals
• Look for opportunities to improve the customer experience and increase sales
• Coordinate with the Montana Shed Center team to ensure customers are taken care of from their first conversation through delivery

• Comfortable using computers and basic sales or customer-management software
• A positive team player who takes pride in helping customers

Previous sales experience is helpful, but it is not required. The right attitude, work ethic, communication skills, and willingness to learn are just as important.

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position. Specific working hours and scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.
