Rapelje School is seeking two (2) elementary teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must have a valid Montana Educator License with the appropriate endorsement and/or demonstrate the ability to obtain proper certification. The district would prefer candidates with dual licensure. Coaching, extracurricular, and bus driving positions are available for additional stipends. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
We have about 65 K-12 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 5:1. The 2025-2026 base salary is $41,670. Salary depends on certification and years of experience. The district contributes to health insurance.
Our school year is 169 days (including PIR days) with a five-day week, ending one hour early on Fridays.Â
School housing may be available. The current rent is $175/month or $275/month, including water. Employees pay for internet, phone, propane, and electricity.
