Quality Control Technician I - JOB SUMMARY
As a Quality Control Technician I with Montana Knife Company, you will be a part of our Quality Assurance team. In this role you will be responsible for a wide variety of inspections, documentation, and communication while supporting major quality objectives. You will be required to perform repetitive tasks per procedure as well as figuring out new tasks or issues with minimal guidance. The day-to-day will be loosely structured to accommodate production issues and fluctuating needs. Attention to detail is essential, and the ability to use reason and develop technical understanding will be important.
MKC will train all new employees as well as provide you with all essential safety and personal protective equipment (PPE).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use a variety of simple and complex measurement tools
- Record data in Excel and assist in document generation in Excel and Word
- Maintain various logs for inspection records and part dispositions
- Troubleshoot issues at assembly by measuring components
- Help implement parts of the quality control system as they are developed
- Communicate daily activities and issues quickly and efficiently
- Building references and SOPs for production
- Organize and maintain quality tools
YOU'LL ALSO NEED TO BE ABLE TO:
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- Push utility carts up to 60 pounds
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards
