Retail Sales Professional (Part Time)

Our flagship Missoula retail store will bring that same craftsmanship and attitude directly to our customers. It’s a place where stories are shared, hands shake, and quality gear finds its rightful owner. 

Position Overview 

 
We’re looking for a Retail Sales Professionals to join our Missoula store team. This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, knows their way around a good knife, and believes in honest work and American-made products. You’ll help customers choose the right MKC knife, maintain a sharp store presentation, and deliver an authentic brand experience every single day. 

What You’ll Do 

• Provide genuine, knowledgeable, and welcoming customer service that represents the MKC brand.
• Learn the details behind every knife — steel types, handle materials and design purpose — and use that knowledge to help customers find the right fit.
• Meet and exceed sales goals by connecting performance and craftsmanship to customer needs.
• Keep displays fully stocked, clean, and organized to ensure every product looks its best.
• Accurately process transactions, returns, and inventory through the POS system.
• Participate in product training, in-store events, and new product launches.
• Offer meaningful feedback on customer preferences, common questions, and brand trends.
• Show up on time, work hard, and bring a positive, reliable attitude to the team every day. 

What We’re Looking For 

• 1 year of retail or customer service experience preferred — outdoor, hunting, or knife industry experience a bonus.
• A strong interest in knives, gear, and craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Tech comfortable — able to use POS systems and basic retail software.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple customers at once.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Availability on weekends, holidays, and during product events.
