Job Summary: A Medical Assistant is needed for a one Physician Nephrology Practice. Responsibilities include reviewing charts and prepping charts with most current labs and Radiology and outside records. They also room patients and take vital signs including blood pressure, weight, pulse, temperature and oximetry and enter data in the EMR. They review medications with patients and ensure the patient Intake form is complete. They keep exam rooms clean and organized and stocked with supplies. They monitor inventory and report to manager when supplies are needed. They follow the Clinic policies on safety, security and Patient Privacy.
Education: Bachelor degree preferred
License: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Experience: 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant , experience with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR)
