We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Banquet Manager to lead our banquet and event services team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of banquet and event operations, including setup, service, and breakdown to ensure smooth execution.
- Lead and supervise banquet staff, including training and performance management to foster a motivated and efficient team.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and special requests to deliver personalized experiences.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality expectations.
- Manage inventory control for event supplies and food items using Excel and our POS system to track event food and beverage costs and usage accurately.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year in a Banquet Captain or Manager position (proven experience in food service management, banquet or catering operations within a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment).
- Strong supervisory skills with previous experience in staff training, team management.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary concepts, and food safety protocols.
- Familiarity with Excel and POS systems for order processing and inventory tracking.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends (Friday - Sunday availability is required).
Pay: $20.00 per hour
