We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to strengthen and scale the AWS-based infrastructure that powers our products and teams. This role is about designing the backbone that accelerates our innovation and growth. The salary range for this role is $108,000 - $176,000. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure (ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC) or similar services from other cloud providers (GPC, Azure)
- Develop backend services and integration tooling to support critical systems
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)
- Drive automation to ensure deployments are fast, reliable, and repeatable
- Ensure platform reliability with monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Sentry)
- Collaborate with team members across engineering to integrate and scale services
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of infrastructure issues
- 6 years of experience in Platform, DevOps, or Backend Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services (ECS preferred)
- Advanced Python programming skills
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK and CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Experience with CI/CD automation and production systems
- Strong grasp of reliability, scalability, and security best practices
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS)
- Exposure to data/ML infrastructure and supporting advanced workloads
