Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as milling machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
- Maintain machine tools by performing basic maintenance tasks; troubleshoot issues related to tooling or mechanical components.
- Handle materials safely within the manufacturing facility, including materials handling and packaging finished products for shipment.
- Follow safety protocols diligently; operate forklifts when necessary for material movement within the warehouse or fabrication areas.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks involving fabrication, welding, or tooling adjustments to meet production goals.
Experience
- Proven factory or manufacturing experience working with CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or stamping presses.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and GD&T standards to ensure precise machining operations.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, calibration, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience operating hand tools, welding equipment, press brake machines, and fabricating components in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
