Job Title: Server - Restaurant (Temporary)

Montage Deer Valley, LLC d/b/a Montage Deer Valley, 9100 Marsac Avenue, Park City, UT 84060, (435) 604-1346, 10 Temporary, full-time (35 hours per week) Servers needed 11/03/2025 - 04/12/2026.
Requirements: No minimum education requirement; 12 months experience as a Server in a Hotel/Restaurant environment required. On the job training provided. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must be physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware. Up to 50 lbs. Also, you must be physically able to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of time. This position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
Duties: Take orders from patrons for food and beverages, and communicate orders to kitchen; take special requests from patrons, and communicate to kitchen as appropriate; take and process payments from guests; present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request; serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required; prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware; explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods; inform customers of daily kitchen specials; prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for patrons, and chill bottles of wine; perform the above duties in accordance to our steps of service, and service standards; perform some light occasional cleaning duties, such as tidying up server stations, removing dishes and glasses from tables, or cleaning up after spills; cleaning and resetting tables after patrons have finished dining; roll silverware, set up server stations, or set up dining areas to prepare for
the next shift or for large parties; polish silverware and glassware.
Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week guaranteed. Will work varied eight-hour shifts Monday -- Sunday, scheduled during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Hours and shifts may vary due to occupancy. Days off will vary based on need. Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed.
Wage and Overtime: Tipped position with guaranteed wage of not less than $16.18/hour (base rate before tips $9/hr). Employer guarantees offered wage in any given workweek when tip compensation does not make hourly wage equal or exceed $16.18/hour. Overtime may be available but not guaranteed. Overtime guaranteed wage is $24.27 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Employer will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid biweekly.
Housing & Daily Transportation: Employer will provide option for shared housing, 2 people per room, dorm style, fully furnished, no private rooms available. Cost of housing will vary based on location and amenities -- from $307.50/month to $500/month and a one-time admin fee of $100. Rent is broken down into two monthly installments, spread out and deducted from bi-weekly paychecks. The city of Park City provides a complimentary bus service that can be used for daily travel to/from the worksite.
Deductions: Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck as required by law and deduct approved cost of optional housing if worker elects. Employer will deduct for nametag at $10 and may deduct cost of replacement garage pass if applicable at $50.

yer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-wee period of the total employment period. Employer will provide workers at no charge uniform (not shoes), supplies, tools and equipment required to perform the job duties;
Additional Details: Employer will reimburse H-2B worker in first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees and need not include other charges primarily for benefit of the worker). Allowed costs of inbound transportation (including meals, and, to the extent necessary, lodging) from place of recruitment to place of employment is provided or reimbursed to workers, if the worker completes half employment period. All transportation costs are to be pre-approved. Receipts must be submitted.
