We’re looking for a Sr. Climber Arborist with 3–5 years of advanced climbing experience who can lead by example, mentor the crew, and deliver high-quality, safe, efficient production.
\n- Perform complex climbs, technical rigging, precision removals, and pruning
- Work from rope & saddle, bucket truck, aerial lift, or crane
- Follow ANSI A300 & Z133 standards
- Conduct job briefings, hazard assessments, and emergency readiness
- Lead by example with PPE and safety protocols
- Operate loaders, stump grinders, chippers, lifts, and crane-assisted setups
- Use modern climbing and rigging systems (SRT/ DRT, GCRS)
- Perform daily gear checks and maintenance
- Coach less experienced climbers and ground crew
- Support cleanup, stump grinding, planting, hauling
- Ability to get in and out of a vehicle multiple times per day
- Ability to safely work in adverse and varied weather conditions
- Ability to safely work in environments containing hazardous or poisonous plants, and wildlife, including insects, reptiles, and other naturally occurring hazards
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the day
- Ability to perform physical labor in moderate to high difficulty range 40-55 hours per week
- VALID Driver’s License (required)
- CDL preferred
- 3 years professional climbing experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment & random drug testing
- ISA, TRAQ, CTSP preferred
- W2 Hourly (Paid Weekly) Overtime
- Defined qualification and compensation levels based on Career Pathways standards
- Climbing Arborist I: $30/hour
- Climbing Arborist II: $32/ hour
- Climbing Arborist III: $35/ hour
- PTO Paid Holidays (after 90 days)
