In the position of QC Packaging Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing analytical testing on raw packaging materials and finished products received from co-packing facilities. Evaluate packaging integrity and performance using established analytical methods and ensures all results are accurately recorded in SAP.
The Impact You'll Make
- Complete analysis of raw materials and finished products from co-packing facilities.
- Primary and secondary packaging testing for validation, evaluation, and/or qualification including routine raw material or finished beverage sampling analysis to identify trends our out of conformance trends.
- Conduct testing including but not limited to: Dissolved Oxygen (DO) / Total Package Oxygen (TPO), Double Seam analysis, Enamel and Lacquer distribution, Axial Load, Dome Growth, and Dome Reversal. Core materials tested include aluminum containers and ends, Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) preforms and closures, corrugate and cartons, as well as shrink and stretch films.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready laboratory environment while supporting consistent product quality and compliance across the packaging supply chain.
- Accurately record test results onto SAP, and database.
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Quality Control, Quality Assurance or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in lab environment
- Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control role
- Computer Skills Desired: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, SmartSheet, and SharePoint.
