Line Cook - Oskar Blues Brewery

Objective

We are looking for a hardworking and friendly line cook to join our kitchen team at Oskar Blues Brewery. The job primarily operates at our taproom cooking up daily pub style food and also special catering for onsite events. Cooking experience required and customer service experience is a plus, as this is a partially customer facing job. Pay is hourly plus a share of TOTAL TAPROOM TIPS!!! Essential Responsibilities

• Preparing menu items to serve to customers, with consistent and excellent quality.
• Exceptional customer service in serving customers.
• Prepping and clean-up of food items each shift.
• Keeping the food truck organized, clean, and sanitary at all times.
• Ensure safety is a top priority with continuous focus on safety in all tasks, and with the public.
• Represent Oskar Blues Brewery and culture in a positive light when dealing with customers.
• Accurate handling of cash and payments.
• Protects consumer health by managing all safe food handling practices.
• Demonstrates teamwork while working respectfully with all team members.
• Communicate clearly while demonstrating willingness to help all team members.
• Provide safe workplace environment for all staff members.
• Provide harassment free workplace of all staff members.
• Protect consumer health with strict adherence to all sanitary and safe food handling mandates and practices.

Physical & Mental Requirements

Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls. Must have solid situational awareness in dealing with the public.
