What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Loan Servicer position at Monson Savings Bank?
Monson Savings Bank is seeking a Residential Loan Servicer to support consumer, mortgage, HELOC, and specialty loan servicing while providing timely, professional assistance to customers and colleagues.
Working within the Loan & Operations Center located at 75 Post Office Park, Wilbraham, MA, the full-time Residential Loan Servicer generally works 40 hours per week, within standard business hours Mon-Fri. Potential for future hybrid remote work option. Regular in-office presence is required.
Some of the position responsibilities include:
- Book and fund loans in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to inquiries, resolve servicing issues, and provide timely follow-up.
- Process payments, payoffs, deferments, discharges, collateral releases, and approved mortgage insurance cancellations.
- Maintain accurate loan records and complete quality reviews, imaging, retention, and electronic record management.
- Monitor escrow, taxes, insurance, end-of-draw requirements, daily balancing, exceptions, and reporting.
- Responsible for maintaining, monitoring and tracking Quarterly/Semi Annual real estate taxes as well as the required annual escrow analysis to be completed in May each year. Works directly with Core Logic and Fiserv to ensure accuracy and efficiency in completing escrow payments.
- Protect confidential information, follow security procedures, and support the Loan Servicing team.
Demonstrated Skills: Strong customer service, communication, computer, organization, and time-management skills, with the flexibility to manage changing priorities and multiple responsibilities in a team-oriented office environment.
Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum one year administrative/ office experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Lending experience is preferred but not required.
