Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Utilize medical imaging and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Fabricate dental appliances as needed and ensure proper infection control measures are followed.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance patient care efficiency.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to provide the best care possible.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficient in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory; familiarity with pediatric patients is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
