Job Title: Delivery Driver
Job Summary:
Touton Logistics Inc. is currently seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to transport products to and from necessary locations (warehouse, Customers) with exceptional customer satisfaction.
Monsieur Touton Selection Ltd. has its headquarters in Manhattan, New York. We are a global resource for 4000 premium wine and spirits, sourcing from over 20 countries. While we work with a distributor network in 46 states, we also operate direct distribution in 11 states: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, DC/Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.
Monsieur Touton Selection, already a leader in the industry, is experiencing growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading
- Communicating with customer service, warehouse, drivers, and other team members.
- Meeting delivery deadlines
- Performing pre-/post trip vehicle inspections.
- Loading and unloading cargo
- Obtaining customer signatures when needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of how to handle materials safely (glass, other fragile materials)
- Familiarity with using navigation systems.
- Effectively present information in 1-on-1/small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Basic Mathematical Ability; able to draw and interpret bar-graphs
- Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs repeatedly and lift or move up to 150 lbs. as needed.
Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or GED
- A valid driver's license.
- Commercial Driver’s License
- Good MVR Record
- One year delivery driving experience
- Acceptable to company standard Driving record. Qualified applicants will be subject to a criminal background and Safety Performance History Records Reference Check.
