Electrical Technician, journeyman level and apprentice level

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and skilled Electrical Technicians at both journeyman and apprentice levels to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage control circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system configurations.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and power tools to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform wiring of electrical panels, switchgear, motors, lighting systems, and other electrical components on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems by analyzing circuit diagrams, testing components, and implementing corrective actions swiftly.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, testing equipment such as ohmmeters, and troubleshooting electrical systems effectively.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations; experience working on construction sites or renovation projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems including high-voltage wiring and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety procedures for low voltage and high-voltage systems.
• Valid electrician license or current apprenticeship status; ongoing training or certifications related to NEC (National Electrical Code) are advantageous.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
