Overview
The Finance & Insurance Manager plays a crucial role in the dealership by overseeing all financial transactions and insurance processes. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and dealership operations, with a focus on enhancing customer relationships and driving sales.

Duties

  • Manage the finance and insurance department, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements, including TILA compliance.
  • Process loan applications and conduct credit analysis to determine customer eligibility for financing options.
  • Negotiate terms of contracts with lenders and customers, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
  • Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including title processing and loan documentation.
  • Utilize financial software to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the department.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to financing and insurance.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to develop strategies that improve automobile sales through effective financing solutions.

Skills

  • Strong customer relationship management skills to foster trust and loyalty among clients.
  • Experience in financial services, particularly in loan processing and credit analysis.
  • Prior experience as a loan officer or within a dealership environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficient negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for customers while maximizing dealership profits.
  • Basic math skills, including 10 key typing proficiency, for accurate data entry and calculations.
  • Familiarity with contracts related to financing and insurance products.
  • Ability to effectively upsell products based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
