Requirements
- Must have NYS Teaching Assistant certification
- Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements
- Knowledge of various assessment tools (running records, etc)
- Experience in implementing instructional resources and activities provided by a classroom teacher in order to meet students’ needs and encourage student growth and progress across content areas
- Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds who have diverse developmental and academic skills and needs
- Desire to grow as a part of a professional community in order to support instructional practice, student learning, and students’ overall growth and achievement
- Possess exemplary interpersonal skills and tools for collaboration with all school faculty, staff, administrators, and families in service to students
- Other responsibilities, as assigned, based on the needs of the school and its student
