Monroe Village is seeking an organized and experienced Clinic Receptionist to join our team!
Monroe Village is a Springpoint Senior Living community located in Monroe Township, NJ. We are seeking a friendly, organized Clinic Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents and visitors. This role supports the smooth daily operation of the clinic by coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a clinical environment, and committed to delivering excellent service to residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule resident appointments for the Clinic and call to remind residents of appointments
- Schedule resident appointments for physicians and consulting specialists, including outside medical appointments
- Schedule and coordinate diagnostic tests for residents.
- Gather and verify resident information for billing and reporting purposes.
- Answer telephone and route calls appropriately.
- Complete and file required documents in residents’ chart
- Assist residents with ordering/refilling their medication
- Pull medical charts for any walk-in or emergency appointments in accordance with appointment schedule and prepare charts for new patients.
- Re-file medical charts daily.
- Assist with Employee Health drug screens, blood draws, and physicals
- Assist to keep accurate employee medical records
- File results and correspondence in medical charts daily.
- Enter patient demographic and insurance information as necessary.
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of an adequate filing system.
- Perform copying, faxing and other clerical tasks, as needed. Basic knowledge of standard office equipment operation required.
- File incident/accident reports in accordance with established policies.
- Follow established infection control procedures when isolation precautions become necessary.
- Ensure work/assignment and common space areas are maintained in a clean, safe and attractive manner.
- Attend in-service education and staff meetings as necessary.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred

Pay Range: $20 - $23 / hr
