RECEPTIONIST

Position
Acts as the first point of contact for internal and external customers. Greeting and directing incoming calls as well as in-person visitors.
Responsibilities
- Maintains telephone switchboard (local calls, long distance, and 800’s numbers) records messages, and identifies priorities.
- Monitors statements from suppliers (rates and services) for phone services.
- Receives and distributes incoming faxes for several departments.
- Liaison between the phone company and internal phone users.
- Assists multiple departments with administrative tasks.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience using and maintaining a phone system.
- Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in correspondence in-person, via phone, and written communication.
- Ability to use basic math skills
