MACHINE OPERATOR

Responsibilities
- Position work pieces against stops or align layout marks with the die or blade.
- Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects and machine malfunction.
- Measure workpiece dimensions with the necessary tools.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale from work pieces.
- Spot weld workpieces.
Qualification
- Structured training or relevant work experience.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to reason and problem-solve as it pertains to position.
- Ability to learn and navigate manufacturing software.
