Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tool and Die Engineer within the stamping industry, located in Williamstown, NJ. Responsibilities include designing and troubleshooting tools and dies, programming for precision tooling, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance production processes. The Tool and Die Engineer will ensure all components meet specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and production efficiency.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain progressive and transfer stamping dies
Support tool builds, tryouts, and production launches
Troubleshoot and improve die performance, quality, and uptime
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve tooling issues
Work with vendors and tool shops on new builds and repairs
What We are Looking For
3 years in tool and die engineering within the stamping industry
Strong knowledge of progressive die design and press operations
Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
Problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred
